5 Master Edits with Sound Link:  https://youtu.be/mpBLkWuGVSw In the first clip (contrast) I left in the direct sound, I felt that the original sound was an essential part of the scene, particularly the typing, and that any change may have altered the flow of the scene. In the second clip (symbolism) I added a voice over primarily to better explain the scene and how it related to symbolism as I felt that might be a little confusing in the original scene. In the third clip (simultaneity) I added post-synchronization dubbing in the form of footsteps. I did this to further emphasize the climbing of the stairs. In the fourth clip (parallelism) I again left in direct sound this was to ensure that I kept the conversation between the two characters intact. In the fifth clip (leitmotif) I added music specifically Can't Touch This by MC Hammer because it directly related to the hammer time dance the characters from the scene were doing.

5 Master Edits Movie Examples  This is an example of leitmotif from Star Wars, the Imperial March theme plays whenever Darth Vader enters a scene.   This is an example of contrast from Interstellar. In this scene, the character is dreaming about their flight crashing, and it cuts to a shot of him sleeping in his bed safely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAbbJT0ZXmk&t=68s This is an example of simultaneity from Inception, in this scene, the character is being followed at the hotel within the dream of the dream while at the same time in the dream level above him the driver is being attacked in the car. The scenes cut back and forth to build tension. This is an example of parallelism from Interstellar, in the scene as the character is leaving his home and family which means the world to him,  the shot then cuts to his spaceship leaving the actual world.     This is an example of symbolism from an ...
